For the past 15 years, since I was 14, I’ve been dealing with websites: Building them, optimizing, generating traffic, and monetizing them. Of course, only much later-in my 20s it became more serious and I realized that it’s actually possible to make a career out of this hobby.
The online world changed a lot in the past 5 to 10 years and sometimes it almost seems like it changes on a monthly basis, you know what? it actually does.
For the past 6 years, since it was establishment, I’ve been working for Investing.com (previously known as Forexpros.com) and during that period I had a chance to deal with most aspects of today’s online world: content; local & international, social media & communities, affiliate marketing, product & project management, user experience and landing page optimization, paid Search, and SEO; Technical and not, local & international, from Google, through some others and to Yandex and Baidu.
